Building Plan Approval Process

  • Application received after plan is approved by technical department; Any outstanding assessment taxes are settled.
  • Sent to the Urban and Rural Planning Department within two days of registration.
  • Urban and Rural Planning Department present their input to the Pasir Mas District Council in two weeks.
  • Review plan and visit site in five days.

Building Plan Approval

  • Application to build a house, storied building, housing development and factory, with no objections, can be approved within 20 days.

Approval for Modified Plans

  • Approval in a week on condition there are no amendments

Problematic Applications

  • Problematic applications escalated to the Planning Committee for certification by the full Assembly , with a result made in two months

Process after verdict

  • Applicant informed in 7 days.
  • Plan is signed between one and three days after all payments settled.

Certification of Fitness for Occupancy (SKD)

  • Certificate issued within a week of the dated E Form (Uniform Buildig By-law) and Certified Letter attached.
